Performance Breathing & Recovery is a three-phase workshop for fitness enthusiasts to create sustainability around performance in and out of the gym.
Workshop Outline
In these Performance, breathing and recovery workshops, you will learn science-based tools to maximise exercise recovery, enhance stress resilience, and build effective metabolic management. You will walk away with advanced physical and mental skills. Learn to perform at your best, remain calm under pressure and build habits to ensure you feel focused and energised daily.
Phase 1 – Performance Recovery
- Breathwork for Recovery (Breathing Mechanics)
- Fascia & The Nervous System (Self Massage and Release Techniques)
- Movement for Recovery & Range of Motion
- Cold/Heat Exposure for Performance Recovery (Ice Bath/Sauna)
Phase 2 – Master Stress, Build Resilience
- Breathing for Resilience (CO2 Tolerance)
- Nervous System Regulation
- Hyperventilation Work (Wim Hof Style Breathing)
- Non-Sleep Deep Rest Procotols for Stress & Anxiety
- Cold/Heat Exposure for Mental Game (Ice Bath/Sauna)
Phase 3 – Metabolic & Energy Efficiency
- Breathing for Metabolic Management
- Nasal Breathing Development
- Sleep, Circadian/Ultradian Rhythms & Arousal Management
- Cold/Heat Exposure for Metabolism (Ice Bath/Sauna)
Event Info
These workshops are a series designed to integrate into each other. I.e. some of the information in week 1 will cross over into weeks 2 and 3. They are split into three sessions to make them digestible, so you come away with valuable learning tools. Due to the nature of these workshops, it would be unhealthy to do all three in one day.

Phase 1 – Sunday 9th October (9 am – 11 am)
Phase 2 – Sunday 6th November (9 am – 11 am)
Phase 3 – Sunday 4th December (9 am – 11 am)

Class length – 2 hrs
What to bring – Pen and notebook, or laptop, workout clothing, bathers for ice baths/sauna, towel, and optional change of clothing for after
For who – This is aimed at anyone serious about upskilling their knowledge and skills around high performance, stress management and resilience. No previous experience is required. However, a good base level of fitness is required.
Limited spots available – Classes of up to 12 people
Who cannot attend – these workshops are not suitable for anyone with a significant history of heart disease, stroke, or panic attacks. If unsure, please contact your medical professional.
