A Quick 10 Minute Beginners Superventilation Breathwork to Boost Your Energy.

  • By Martin McPhilimey
  • In Video

This 10-minute super ventilation breathwork is a nasal and mouth based breathing pattern that induces a stress response. It’s great for releasing stimulating chemicals into the body to boost your energy if you’re feeling flat or sluggish first thing in the morning.

**Please read the health warnings at the bottom as this breathwork is not advised for everyone.

Similarly to Wim Hof breathing, this technique is great for boosting the immune system, reducing pro-inflammatory cells to bring down inflammation. Using this technique when you first feel a cold or a viral infection can help boost the immune system required to fight off the infection. Combine this breathing with cold exposure or high-intensity exercise to maximise results.

**Do not do this breathwork if you have a history of the following:

– Currently Pregnant – Chronic Stress or Burnout – Severe High Blood Pressure – Panic Attacks – Recent Chest, Abdomen or Eye Surgery Less than 3months ago – Heart Attack or Stroke – Cardiac Failure
